Job Description
We seek a trainee to participate in simulation related tool development. Trainee would help developing winning solutions for data processing and analysis tools, tools enhancing the use of the simulators, or participating wireless technology development by participating in a new feature development. The simulation tools are used by the hundreds of Bell Labs researchers and are essential for development of the 5G and 6G technologies. Tasks may be tailored for the skills of the successful applicant.
- Excellent skills in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Matlab and/or C++.
- Fluent with Linux environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills, can express him/herself fluently in English
- Understanding of wireless technologies (LTE, NR, WiFi) is a benefit
- Trainee should soon graduate to Masters Degree
- Position is suitable for students from the field of telecommunications or computer science, but also other fields like electronics, mathematics or physics are considered
Successful applicant should be motivated and passionate to learn new things. Good analytical and problem-solving skills are a benefit.
