About Network Infrastructure
Network Infrastructure, includes IP Routing, Optical Networks and Fixed Networks, as well as Alcatel Submarine Networks business, currently reported under “Group Common.” This business group will respond to the ever-increasing demand for higher capacity, greater reliability, faster speeds and lower costs.
Job Position Description:
We are looking for a qualified Systems Architect or Tester to join our team.
Job Responsibilities & Competencies
- Be able to gain a lot of complex knowledge in a short time frame as you need to become an expert in several specific areas and develop an overall understanding of the entire CMM product
- Work with customer to understand their requirements
- Operate and maintain the lab test environment, execute test scenarios, debug and troubleshoot issues,
- Analyze the traffic call model and measurement,
- Be able to perform the Capacity, Performance and Reliability testing,
- Support, lead, develop, partner and implement automation strategies for large and small features
- Translate customer requirements into feature requirements for the development and test teams
- Understand the impacts to the CMM product for new features and define the architectural changes needed to support the new features
- Keep abreast of changes in various cloud infrastructure
- Be in close contact with testers, tools engineers, product managers and the support teams (some of which are in different countries)
- Work with a multi-site and multi-cultural team to ensure collaborative teamwork and communication,
- Develop and maintain software written in Python, C or C++
- Understand Ksh/Bash, IOTA, XML, JSON, REST, HTTP2
- Be very creative in order to solve complex real-life situations and innovate ways to overcome any constraints
- Support, lead, develop, partner and implement software designs and architecture for large and small features
- Be responsible for delivering the software content you committed to
- Have a proven track record for interactions with many engineers and ability to act as a change agent via excellent communication, multi-tasking and development skills
- Have a proven aptitude for methodical problem solving, good communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work well in a close-knit and global team keep in mind the customer's point of view
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Knowledge of and Experience in 3GPP standards (UMTS, LTE, 5G)
- Knowledge of and Experience in Call Processing development, unit testing and integration testing BS degree in CS or EE
- Knowledge of and Experience of writing requirements for a 3G, 4G, or 5G system
- Experience working with customers to understand their requirements for new features.
Desired Qualifications:
- Proficient in C, C++, Object Oriented Programming
- Experience with Virtual Machines, Multi-threaded applications
- Knowledge of and Experience with Linux
- Knowledge in Networking and TCP/IP/UDP/SCTP sockets/HTTP sessions
- Knowledge of and Experience with IOTA (in-house protocol testing tool)
- Openstack and VMware knowledge
- Experience with XML, JSON, YAML, REST, HTTP2, ASN.1
- Knowledge of Microservices and other Container-based software architectures
- Experience with Git, Confluence
